Creating from a blank slate is my specialty. I have been creating beautiful, luxurious bespoke invitation suites for over 8 years and have created my own way of approaching the design process that allows you to focus on all the fun stuff and I take care of the rest. We work together to create something that tells your own unique story.
My bespoke design process is intimate and thorough and because of this I limit the amount of bespoke commissions I take on to 8 to 10 couples a year. I spend around 3-4 months with each commission from start to finish, so get in touch as soon as possible to get onto my production schedule. Here is an overview of my process:
You’ll fill out a questionnaire to give me an idea of you as couple as well as your visions or aspiration you may have for your stationery. We will then schedule a consultation which can be in person if you’re local, but usually it’s over the phone.
Concept Proposal and Pricing Checklist
After the consultation, I get to work creating my in-depth concept proposal. This is where the everything starts to take shape. This step is essential in making sure were are on the same page in regards to aesthetic, messaging and the story we are telling before designing any stationery. You can choose between 1 or 2 concept proposals. My concept proposals include visual inspiration, paper design and a invitation mockup. You have two revisions at this stage to narrow down to one final concept.
Next, I put together a very detailed list of all your stationery options and their costs. This allows you complete control over your budget. You can see what every item and finish and option costs, allowing you decide how you want your budget to work.
With concept finalised an idea of what options you have chosen, we can start applying it to all the wedding paper. You receive your proofs via PDF and have one revision at this stage.
Printing and Production
After stationery design has been approved, it hits the press, literally! Everything is lovingly designed, printed (letterpress) and finished by hand in-house. For any other fine print finishes such as hot foiling, gilt edging and duplexing, I use wonderful suppliers who value quality as much as I do.
Signed, sealed, delivered. I offer full service delivery to your guests should you choose. All other paper goods will be sent to you via courier and are always tracked, signed-for and fully covered.
